PRINTER ISSUE


To help resolve the issue where the client is unable to print on the server, you can follow these steps in a clear and organized manner:


1.Check Print Queue:

  • Open the Queue for the printer and check if there are any pending print jobs.

  • If necessary, cancel any stuck or unresponsive print jobs.

2.Restart Print Spooler Service:

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

  • Locate Print Spooler in the list of services.

  • Right-click on Print Spooler and select Restart to clear any stuck print jobs.

3.Verify Printer Settings:

  • Open the Devices and Printers window on the server and confirm that the correct printer is set as the default printer.

  • Ensure the printer is not paused or offline. Right-click on the printer and check the status.

4.Test with a Local Printer:

  • If the issue is with a network printer, test by connecting a local printer to the server and check if it works.

  • This can help determine if the issue is with the network configuration or the printer itself.

5.Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from the server or client.

  • Download the latest printer drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

  • Install the updated drivers and restart the printer.

IF YOU STILL FACING THE PRINTER ISSUE TRY THESE STEPS TO RESOLVE IT.

1.Open The Admin Tool And Then Go To Printers Then Click On Remove the Universal Printer.


2.After That Click On Install Universal Printer (CUSTPDF)/Install Universal Printer(Ghostscript)



Make Sure To Logout That User If You are doing these steps.


Once Installation It’s Done Press Windows + R, type (printmanagement.msc)

Then click on all printers select universal printer double click on it.


Go To The Advanced Tab Click on (start printing immediately) Apply and then ok.

Now Go To General Tab And then click on the print test page a small pop will appear after that click on apply and then ok.


Now log in the user again and try to test print issue has resolved.
